Who doesn't like ice cream or one of its variants? If you are looking for something to do other than just have your sugary fix, I suggest taking a walk afterward. It is common knowledge that the calories ingested immediately prior to or after a walk, do not count. Taste of Boston at Ballast point sells ice cream and you can take your kids to the park or walk out onto the pier. Yogurtology is nearby if you don't like the park's selection. Channelside has Coldstone and the views of the water. Jackson's has their Gelato bar on the waterfront and then you can hit Riverwalk afterward. Sono Cafe also has Gelato and the Riverwalk. If you want to check out Hyde Park Village, indulge at Sprinkles. Another South Tampa establishment is the Dairy Inn, it's cheap and worth a stop.
